My older brother, Eliezer Feinstein, represents the Feinstein family every year at the various memorials for Feinstein and Barazani. The British policeman Thomas Henry Goodwin was treating the underground prisoners humanely. Meir dedicated his Bible to him just minutes before he and Moshe blew themselves up. Asking Goodwin to leave the cell with the Bible saved the good jailer's life. Sixty years later, the Goodwin family returned the Bible to my family.

Meir's mother, Bella Feinstein was my grandfather Eliezer Feinstein's second wife. A remarkably strong, intelligent and beautiful woman, she was the cornerstone of my family during the tragic struggle to save Meir's life after he was sentenced to death. Meir was her youngest son and his loss was extremely devastating.
